I put "career" in quotations because I am in no way good enough to sustain a living playing poker, nor do I play the high stakes.
But I've been playing heads up of late, I'm on stars too, and I have really been enjoying it (coupled with relative success over a very small sample of games). I feel it's more competative, and engages me as a player more.
So I'm going to focus on HU from now on out. I've come back to Sky after some nostalgia from when I used to play on another account years ago. I also noticed this place is one of the very few that has micro stakes heads up cash games which has convinced me to put down £100 and work from there.
This is a general introduction to the community of sky, I haven't really been involved in poker communities until recently. I find them pretty beneficial.
Anyone got any experience of "specialising" in one particular format of the game? if so, how did you approach it?
GL out their folks.

What's your HU game of choice?
You should check out my diary, it's detailing my progress through hypers. I am down a fair amount for June, but it's actually only abuot 15 BIs and I've been running pretty horribly for abuot 300 games now, definitely think I'll get back on track before the end of June.
I play turbocharged HUSNG's. If you'd like to play a First to 5 at 2.10 turbo charged? 1 table at a time (I did multitable cash a lot, but I haven't tried it in heads up yet so I don't have a clue how it would effect my play).
I've seen a lot of people playing hypers on other forums, I wouldn't know how to approach them from a strategic point of view and can imagine the variance being very high.
I'll definitely have a read, a downswing such as 15BI's can happen to anyone in the hypers, such is the nature of that game format. I don't know if I'd be able to keep my composure in those games due to the variance.
I don't really go mad multi-tabling HU either, the most I'll ever play is 2 tables, anything more than that, and there's just no way I can keep track of my opponents tendancies.
