Quest to turn my £5 free sign up bonus into a meaningful bankroll! (First target of about &#163

Going to play heads up normal sit and gos for £1 and see how far I can go. I started on the thursday just gone and I am now up to £32.90. Anyone think this is possible? Seems to me if I just use a basic "ABC" game and play using position strongly in a tight aggressive fashion I seem to take a majority of these things down. Have wrote a reminder on my screen not to bluff because these people generally don't seem to fold for micro stakes. But I'm doing great so far, hopefully I get stronger and stronger. Think my game is quite good and I should be playing at a higher level but I want to build up through the stakes so I gain experience. Would be nice to hear your thoughts and opinions.

Thanks!

If you can avoid running horrendously badly it's well possible. Good luck bud.

Thanks for the good luck wishes guys. I have been running quite well but still suffering some ridiculous beats as always! I don't think I have ever won a race in my life hahaha! A great start, long may it continue :). What kind of games do you guys play?

Good luck and hope you run well.  As for what games to play, I would advise playing a few different types, cash, BHs DYM's and find a style and level that suits you best.  I'm usless at cash not not too bad at DYM's for example.

Just remember when someone gives you a beat, someday you will give them a much worse one!

If all else fails we will just have to feed you more :)

    Have fun and run well

Hahaha! Loved the end of that message mate. What is your username all about, calling Cena a chav? I agree, an American chav lol! Hate the way it has turned all PG now, we need the attitude era back!!

As for the poker I'm not bad at cash but not really got enough in my roll to play for anything meaningful to avoid constant calling stations. My speciality is probably DYMs... Heads up was doing my head in so I have decided to move to £5.50 DYMs and I'm on 3 wins in a row at the moment. Currently trying to make it four! Might just stick to these and try and build it up. Definitely think they can be profitable in the long run although they are ridiculous mind numbing most of the time! I'll try some tournaments once I build up a roll. Got a new player freeroll tomorrow with a decent prizepool so hopefully I'll run well in that, just got to avoid tilt and I'm away!
