Hey Guys
As a lot of you know I lost my wife Lynne to Leukemia earlier this year. She was a keen player on Sky and especially loved the SPT's.
At the Luton SPT some very hard working Sky players made & sold some ribbons to help raise money for the charity giving I had set up to raise money in her name (this was to do some good for others instead of people spending money on flowers at the time).
I am pleased to let you know that with the associated tax relief the total now raised is over £3,700. This will make a difference to people who need it and she would be so proud to know this has been achieved.
I am writing to thank you all for your efforts in helping to raise this money, I always feel the Sky community is part of my family and I again would like to thank everyone for the care and support you have shown and given to me, it has helped me through some very dark times. I cannot say I still don't have many bad moments but I take it one day at a time and your continued support is still so important to me.
So thankyou all again, I felt I should give you an update on how the fund is going and the fact that I can do thiis posting means I am making steps forward.
Ian

Thanks Ian.

I didn't know your wife or indeed yourself, though we're both in HITSQUAD, but what a lovely gesture by all involved. Well done....
