As you are all aware, the Olympics start in less than a months time, and I thought we could have our own little competition regarding the medals.

What you need to do is to post a guess on this thread as to how many medals you think TEAM GB will win in TOTAL, and how many of those will be GOLD. This is for the Olympics only, not the paralympics.

For the tie-break (in case it is needed), also post how many gold medals will be won by CHINA.

To give you some sort of guidance, the last two medal tables were:

As an added incentive, Sky have kindly agreed to donate a prize of a seat in the Thursday £12k Bounty Hunter to the winner.

The winner will be determined thus:
1. Any entrant that gets both the TOTAL medals and the GOLD medals correct.
2. In the event of more than one player guessing both correct, then the tie-break will decide the winner (nearest wins)
3. If no-one guesses both correct, then THE TOTAL MEDALS WON WILL BE COUNTED FIRST. ALL ENTRANTS WHO GUESS THE CORRECT TOTAL WILL THEN BE IN A TIE, AND WHOSOEVER IS NEAREST TO THE CORRECT NUMBER OF GOLD MEDALS WILL BE THE WINNER. THE TIE BREAKER WILL BE USED IF ENTRANTS STILL CANNOT BE SEPARATED.

So, what you need to do in brief:

Put 3 numbers in the thread. total medals, gold medals and gold medals for china.

If you duplicate ALL 3 of somebody elses, i will post on here to give you a chance to change any of your guesses.
