Playing £50 FO live in hull, 36 runners, good structure.
Lots of regs, but new kid is just crushing it, playing terribly but just getting there over and over. He says its the first live game he has ever played and I totally believed him
Whittles down to him and I heads up for decent money. Him holding about a 3/1 chip advantage. I open my big mouth and say:
"You should be really proud of yourself coming 2nd in your first live tournament bud". Saying it totally sincerely, meaning at least 2nd lol. Other regs wont let it go
Thankfully he went to pieces heads up and I binked the win, ego ftw
