If you have a quad core processor.
Open task manager, then resource manager, CPU tab, wiew the graphs for the 4 cores when sky is running with a bunch of tables open. If all 4 cores are not being used, or one core is hitting 100% then do the following:
Open task manager, right click skypoker in processes, set affinity, choose cores 0,1,&2.
Now with the 4th core assign all your other processes that run when sky does.
Then open regedit and disable windows 7 parking to make your PC use all 4 cores at all times:
- Go to Regedit
- Find this key:- " 0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583 "
- Within this key, there is a value called: " ValueMax "
- This value represents the % number of cores the system will park - the default 100% ie: all Cores are potentially park-able
- Change the value from 64 to 0 so the " ValueMin " and " ValueMax " are both zero
- You will have to find the key a few times and repeat the process for each time it is found - the number of instances will depend on the number of power profiles in your system
- Do a full shutdown and power-off and cold-re-start
This worked for me
Now my PC uses 3 cores equally when sky is running, rather than one core being at 100% often, and the software lagging.
If this works for you reply here with a thankyou as this has taken me months to figure out with my limited IT knowledge.
Regards,
Nathan

I'm sure i've got half a dozen programs on twice and stuff i don't need becaue of his 'help'.....(he's a good mate really!)
Good on yer fella! WP sir!
