Late registration, yes good idea but there  should be something in main lobby or tournament lobby page that states that  it is a late registration tournament. player only finds out once tournament starts. also i think half an hour is enough time for late reg.

I agree, something in the lobby to say late registration for this tournament will be available for X minutes.

Personally I have no issue with late registration for one hour

 As an initial idea to help players with identification simply put an L in the ID column alongside the tournament that has the late registration option. Obviously over time there is sufficient space in the lobby column to add the information to the R/H/S of tournament status. 

 I wouldnt dream of teaching my grandmother how to suck eggs or how sky should run their business but again by trying to introduce things bit by bit, [yesterday there was going to be one then it was available on a few & today it would appear by glancing at the lobby page none of the tournaments have late registration], it all just adds to the clients sense of confusion. You can never please all of the people all of the time but sometimes for the site to improve & progress changes have to be made but please in my opinion only introduce something when it is the finished article you are far less likely to meet resistance if it is an instant overnight change rather than over a period of time .
