Nevada has the highest rate of unemployment in the U.S. It has been ranked as the most dangerous state in the U.S for 5 years in a row. Violent crime, murder and robbery are significantly higher in Nevada than almost all other states.
Now seeing as two thirds of Nevadas' population live in Clark County, which contains Las Vegas,  you can begin to comprehend the fact that Las Vegas itself is the compacted core of all these problems. It literally is a muggers paradise and can be an extremely hazardous place to be in, especially whilst being drunk, a tourist or both.
I have heard many guests on the show describe Vegas as, " the most amazing place in the world." In my personal opinion this is more than a little myopic. I've been there and as well as being somewhat amazed at it's scale, also found it to be, one  the saddest, tackiest, soul-less places i've ever visited . This is despite the fact that i was, fortunately,  not a crime victim.
Basically Vegas should have a health warning and to be fair to James, on more than one occasion, i have heard him offer viewers a much more balanced outline of the place.
I am truly sorry to hear what happened to Stu and Sam but these events are standard and people need to realise that for their own good. I read in the forum often people getting all excited about going to Vegas for the first time which is nice but there are some rules about the place that are best to follow. I'm sure James will feel the need to offer various points here.
Anyway guys have a great show !  Anna, would you be kind enough to ask James to give my Nan a wave and say hello ? She is his biggest fan and when i am at her house she'll only let me watch 861 when he is on the programme. She describes him as, " a handsome hound," often.
Thank you so much !   :)

The time I was late for my secretary's wedding reception.
After a glorious church wedding in York. I had to pick up Fiona and her new husbands honeymoon cases as they were going straight to the airport from the reception.
Traffic was bad but I eventually arrived at the White House Hotel for the reception, I marched in checked out the blackboard and headed straight for the room marked Wedding reception.
The room was packed and I didn't want to cause a fuss so I sat down at the table closest to the door and enjoyed an excellent meal sat next to Uncle Fred and Auntie Betty. We chatted about the wild things Fiona had got up to on drunken nights up and down the Micklegate Run (A street in York with oodles of pubs and nightclubs).
It was the best wedding reception I'd been to, Up until the speeches started.
It was only then I realised I was at the wrong reception! As I made my swift exit I can sttill remember hearing Uncle Fred and Auntie Betty telling other family members of the brides wild evenings in York and can still picture the brides mother and fathers bemused expressions.
I returned to the lobby checked the blackboard again and found the correct room marked as Coultas party.
I sat down just in time for the food to be served.
Two wedding receptions, two dinners, Magic! and they're all living happilly ever after!
    Great Result!

    Anna,

Please put James in his place he is only " the analyst" not as he has tweeted  "Co Host" of tonights programme.
He can host the future progammes when he is the Presenter & not merely the Analyst.

     Have a great show guys

ps. A shout out for The Hit Squad Captain in tonights TV Dym's who from now on is going to be known as HITMAN_TV.....Good luck Dave "Jam it in their Eye"

    honest to goodness.
I was working for Inter City East Coast Main line at the time in 1990
I'm sure there are some Sky players who would have known Fiona Coultas because she was beautiful and an absoloute treasure!

I will shame myself in sharing this story of lateness!
I was 19 years old and a bit of a party girl and the word bit is an understatement! I was in my hometown and had a holiday booked to go to turkey the next day flying at 7:55 in the morning. (My family was already out there in Turkey me and my friend where going to spend the 2nd week with them) I got in late from work when I was asked to go into town for a few drinks by friends so off I went, planning to be out for an hour, or maybe two and then go home to PACK (as was very ill prepared) and then get some sleep before my grandad picked me up in the morning at 5!
Anyway I remember getting woke up on the kitchen floor by my grandad at 5:15 (First lateness) as I was cradlling a bottle of vodka very tight to my chest which was empty as the contents where completely emptied all over me. I stunk of alcohol was drenched and was being rushed out the door in a pair of combats and a fleece! I slept in the car and arrived at the airport and had slightly sobered up by now with my friend meeting me at the airport (2nd lateness) there we checked in with just enough time to get to the shop get a magazine and then board. However as I got off the over end in an absolutely boiling hot Turkish ruinway in combats and a fleece It suddenly dawned on me I hadnt packed my suitcase!!! My grandad must of picked up an empty case chucked it in the van along with me and off we went to gatwick! I quickly made my way to the luggage retrieval area and lifted my suitcase off the spinney thing, however it was really heavy! I found the key to open it and was praying I had packed in my drunken state the prior night!! As i flipped open the case I saw about 50 pairs of socks a teddy and another fleece!!! :( I then had to go all the way to my hotel, 2 hours boiling hot in a fleece then go into the town dressed for the winter to buy some summer clothes for the holiday! Safe to say I became a little bit more responsible in my older years......... after the holiday

    Hi gang
Anna may i ask you if you received my tweet when you asked me to send  my favourite card protector of all that i have(i'm the one who sent a pic of about 20!!!!) I've just started using twitter recently in order to keep up with Matt Bates, TOMMYD, etc in vegas and used it to to deliver messages to the programme but i'm not sure if i'm did it correctly each time. One obviously got there but i sent three others and not sure if others messed up!

Also, please could you give a shout out for Stuart Rutter. I put up a 'All the best from the forum' post today today and quite a few have gone on to wish him well.
I know that i'm not alone in finding him an excellent analyst, one of the top three i'd say, with a very personable nature. He makes succinct appraisals in a logical way which helps us to feel that good poker is achievable. Give him a hug when you see him Anna eh?
He'd enjoy that! You too Jen but James .....maybe just a handshake eh?

I was late for a job interview.

On the way, I was involved in a car crash. An idiot pulled out in front of me. I went mental & told the guy that he was a complete idiot. He drove off leaving me surveying my broken headlamp. In the end as the weather was ok I drove off to the interview arriving five minutes late.

I was told that it was no problem that was until I met the person who was interviewing me. Step forward the man who I had abused some 15 minutes earlier.

    Awkward.

Hardly surprisingly, I didn't get the job.

Hi all.  Have a great show.  In the caption is Redmond saying "not for the first time I know exactly what you both have in your hands!"

I've never been late for anything and normally hate it when other people are late.  My ex wife was late for something twice but I'm happy at that as they resulted in our two girls.  They are with me tonight so my play may not be fully optimal!
