Im quite a tight player, i get my money in when i think im winning, i be agresssive when i feel im strong, if theres possible straights or flushes that could come out i tend to stick more money in, as most of the time they shouldnt hit and i get paid. I get alot of good wins. But it seems BAD LUCK hits me way too much. 1 example. and it happens so much. on average i say 8/10 times. (seriously) i have pocket aces, get as much in, be strong all the way through (unless theres for than 3 people in the hand and theres a few things out there someone can have to beat me) ... but i always seem to get beat. its making me want to fold aces straight away!!! haha ...
other example which has happened to me 4 times in the past week... i have pocket 8s. 2 7 8 flop. i raise 3 blinds (to try get people involved) i get raised again. i re raise (by this point i know im going all in) ... river card. they hit there 10 (when having 10s in their hand) ... im sure it happens to everyone. but 4 times in a week and this is happening week in week out.
2 2 6 comes out ( i have 6's) ... other player has 8s. river card is a 8 ... and again. this is happening to me all the time. should i just give up if i havnt got the absolute nuts every time? i think not. but it seems every sinle time someone has AN AMAZING hand they have been waiting for for ages ... somone els has to absolute nuts
i have 8 10 ... flop 6,7,9 .... obviously geting my money STRAIGHT in there! ... turn is a 2 ... river card is a 8 .... the way ive played and been agressive, i wouldnt put any 1 on 10 jack. paying 2/3 quid for the turn and river in search of that 8 that might come out... the 8 does come out. he goes all in. i have no choice as i still have a straight... i lose of course as always
im not sure theres an answer to any of this. Or if this is just how it happens for some players (the losers) ... love the game so much. i feel im pretty clever at times and know when im winning and losing. but stuff like this just keeps happening to me ...

Try and give info if possible, was it a DYM? If it was an MTT, was it deep, was it the bubble etc etc?
Is this on a diff site?? Variance is cruel but not as bad as players make it out to be. To be honest if you had some evidence of the hands that the forum regs could see, then I am sure there are ways we could help. At the end of the day, you can't always get your money in good and lose.
Make sure you're getting them from the HH bit on the actual browser on the homepage. Don't get it from your HH while at the table, and don't get them from the HH in the download. Then just highlight it up, copy and paste.
Seriously get hit by stuff like this all the time ... I dont like assuming people are being aggressive every time with the nuts. or is that how i should play to avoid this?
the aa v 66 was just unlucky
seems if im too agressive people just fold most of the time lol ... and the way i play im nearly always up on all tables. just got hit by hands that seem abit hard to avoid lol... thannks for the advice

You need to charge people for there draws. Every one of the hands above you have posted but the first (maybe) you bet so small on drawing boards. The 666 jjj hand is unlucky but remember he was ahead pre. The others with all the min raises are avoidable, you need to raise more especially at these levels. The aces hand why are you raising to 70p??? They are all priced into play now, make it £1.25 or more (at this level make it £3 someone will call)
I think you should go through your hand histroy and get the biggest losing hands and post them on the clinic, not all of them, but this biggest ones where you think you played it well. (I am not trying to be harsh lol but your original post is about asking if you are doing anything wrong and being too careful, definately not more careful lol be more aggro and yes there are some weaknesses, mainly with your bet sizing but this can be improved) There are loads of grinding cash players who will help you here so take it all on board
I'm not really a cash player but to my mind your bet sizing is the problem in some cases here as you're giving the odds to players to peel...charge them or make them fold. Set over set and running into a caught straight is just ul. You aren't going to get away from those hands a lots without serious reads so let it ride and kick the imaginary cat!! Cheers
Bet more with those hands (then you will gets all the fishes that call anyways, like moi )
Weaker players will get lucky more often. As they will be getting their money in bad more often. However in the long term, they will win the hand the correct percentage of the time. You will have to make awful lot of money from these players to cone close to making a profit from the game, with the money you pay the site for playing.
Just enjoy playing. Win or lose take pride in playing well.At the end of the day it is only a game. Losing money in poker doesn't mean you are not playing very well. Your very often , just not able to cover the costs of playing, with money you are winning from weaker players.
