looks like my mistake was calling the flop, is it a shove or a fold the right move in the long run?

I think I would have shoved flop here.

Saying that you prob thought you were up against a flush draw and straight/draw.

The river just rubbed your face in it didnt it!

not sure hows thats butchered? your KK hand in ur other post is butchered...

you flop 2p on the wettest board, not likely the guy is shoving the straight into oyu is it, much more likely he has some kinda pair + sd or fd or hes a monkey with QQ+

    looks fine to me

edit - my bad thought u'd gone all in on flop too, which you should have! so yeah that is a mess, cant flat with one player behind and leaving yourself 15 behind....get it in on the flop

Your play looks OK to me.

Pre -flop - called a 3xBB with 89 suited - no problem with that.

Flop - gives you 2 pair but really wet flop. Playing after Phun I would have felt it was more likley he was flush chasing or had hit top pair than had hit an outright straight. I would have hummed and haa'd, pulled a face and probably called. I would have seen the call after me by Aujla as not so good news as there are now 2 players who could be flush chasing, hit a straight. He's called after an all-in and a call so he has something or has a good draw (OK, stating the bleeding obvious).

Turn - Cr@p. Chances of a straight have now shot up and you don't have a straight draw or a flush draw and only an 8% chance of hitting a boat on the river. Aujla all-in is an insta-fold imo.

i was thinking i should shove the flop to isolate rather than flat, as i am then forced to fold the turn

Yes just shove, then you don't have to worry about the turn.

You have to shove the flop or fold
