Opinion on live ruling:

Playing a £50 FO Live at an unfamiler venue.  45 or so runners.

On the bubble pick up a hand of value, build a pot.  Connect with flop, bet flop.  Pot is HU going to turn.  Turn is pretty grim card, have about 50% of my stack involved in hand.

I check to oppo.  Oppo's girlfriend comes over, bends over, mutters something to him.  He cups his mouth and whispers something into her ear.  He then bets.

I call for his hand to be dead.  Told no grounds to do so.  I obv argue one player per hand, guy shouldnt be sat at the table if he doesnt know the most standard rules.

(in honesty pretty sure I've just been coolered on the turn).

Calling a ruling going to far, or justifiable?

I think it's a bit far to call for his hand to be dead. Your basically just giving him free info that your weak.

Once he opens turn being weak or strong makes no difference, its a decision for stacks.
