Game of Golf before SPT Grand Final at DTD

Guys,

Anyone up for a round somewhere near/in Nottingham on the day before the grand final? Just a thought i had for a bit of a laugh, i don't mind sorting a course and some tee times, just thought i would get peoples reaction 1st to see if its a starter!

Let us know your thoughts!

    I'd be up for this. I know bungle72 would be too. Although I'm no way near as good as yourself. You thinking Fri afternoon or early Sat am? We are booked into the Prem inn just off junction 26 M1.

    What a great idea - you beat me to the post.

    Only, I don't think I'll be going up on the Friday night (I have a golf weekend with mates the previous weekend and I can only get away with so much) so I was looking for a game on the Sunday morning. 

    As most tend to drink during the game on the Saturday, I'm guessing your proposal is going to be more popular.

    What time for the tee off on the Saturday (I'm already thinking I might get away with leaving early in morning)?

    was thinkign friday afternoon yeah, see if you can make the friday if we can get some players together!

    I've poker to Tony (bungle) and he is up for it. U wanna (I'll do same) google local municipal courses to junction 26 of the M1? I'll make sure I'm down by 12 ish which would leave enough time to play, check in afterwards at the Hotel, change and eat, before heading to DTD.

    At 1st glance. Edwalton Golf Course looks the one. Play 9, then if enough time could play another 9?

    Ive just started looking at some courses in the notts area, will choose a few and get a few prices something around 20-25£ should get us a decent ish place to place!

    Hopefully we can get maybe 12 ish of us to play....

    I'm deffo up for this and Friday around noon sounds perfect to me!!!

    Sunday would be a no go as I'll be on the way to the final table .....

    Stapleford scoring with bits and birdies , winner takes all.... Call me a degen..
