Before I toddle off & get the Tourney set up & everything, I have one proposal to make. I am not going to explain my thought process, as you can all work it out. I'd like that we add ONE extra runner to Friday's "Final" - DTW Bandit. If agreed, I will add £4.20 to the current proposed Prize Pool, as that is the sum that 20th was due to get. Instead, if we proceed on this basis, 21st will also get £4.20. IF YOU OBJECT, please PM me, as if you say as much on the thread, even with good reason, it may come across as churlish, & the last thing we want after a month of great fun is a bit of bad blood amongst you. If there are no dissenters by tomorrow morning, we will go ahead with 21 runners - the 20 who qualified by right, + Michael, aka DTW Bandit. All those in favour say "aye"...... Posted by Tikay10
Hi Tikay, I've re-done the list, this is the exact Aliases of all those who qualified, I've also took the liberty of adding DTW to the list as I think the AYES will have it
Thanks Chris, I needed those aliases "exact" as to characters, upper/lower case, underscores etc, or else the software would reject them. I have just spoken with the Office about the Tourney, & confirmed pretty much everything. The 20 - or 21 - names will be sent by me to them today or tomorrow, & ONLY those players will be able to take part, it will be "locked" I believe. We have all agreed the prize structure, so that's that sorted. I need to check the thread to see what we agreed as to the Tourney structure (blinds, clock etc), I'll do that shortly. the general feeling was that we run the structure the same as DTD3 (formerly The Take On tikay) 2.5k stack 12 min blinds starting somewhere around the 7.30-8pm mark I think

Just for the record, Michael, I had no PM's about it, & there was not a single dissenter.
The stuff you DTD guys do is amazing.
Hope the Tourney is what it is intended to be - a bunch of good-natured folks just enjoying some fun poker. To qualify, everyone had to get through 4 weeks of Tourneys (3 per week) so it's been quite a journey already, & the winner, whoever he or she is, will deserve it.
Everyone is already "in the money", too, so that's rather nice.

A great gesture to donate some of your winnings to the DTDers and very much appreciated by all I'm sure. It looks a very tough field with only the occaisional soft spot like HITMAN_RV managing to sneak in. I'm thorougly looking forward to it and whoever wins it will very much deserve it.
Greg Hogg has written to me privately to inform me he is unable to play this on Friday, which is rather a shame, as he has other plans which means he willl not be Online at the time.
He suggests that his minimum cash - £4.60 iirc - be EITHER donated to Charity, or the seat be passed to someone else.
We have two choices then. Give the cash to charity, or pass it to the next person in the League, being whoever finished 21st in the Forum DTD League. It would be wrong to donate the seat to anyone other than "next in line", & may, in doing so, cause some bad blood.
