Having said that we need to take a look at our play instead of thinking we were just unlucky because you played the hand equally as bad. With your stack you simply can't be calling with 22 here. You have two options either fold or re-ship. I like jamming over the top here with this stack against a lot of button opens. Folding is also fine and probably the more standard option.
