Because we lose a hand - & there is a loser in EVERY SINGLE hand of poker (split pots excepted) does not mean EITHER player did a single thing wrong.

Some hands play themselves, they just do, but someone HAS to lose.

The other chap genuinely thought his hand was good on that flop (wrongly) & he got there. Standard.

I made a bad call in Vegas recently with the 2nd nuts in Razz, it was for my Tourney. I went bust. Villain then said "did you not realise you were losing?"

"Umm, no Sir, actually I did not, I would not have called if I did".....

Been playing quite abit of razz lately and it sounds like you're being really hard on yourself saying it was a bad call with the 2nd nuts!!!

Maybe it's because Im bad, and playing against other bad players but it's rare to see the nuts! It sounds like a horrid cooler to me, in your own words, "ungetoffable"!?

Was it no limit or pot limit or something? I've only played FL so far....

Is it common to fold huge hands then? Am I wrong?  A2346 right? Cold! :(

I may have worded that badly, it was an "easy" call, but as it happened, a losing call, so almost by definition, bad.

Yes, I had a nut 6, & though I'm a raw novice @ Razz, it seemed to me that it was as hard to get off as, say, running K-K into A-A pre-flop - MOST times we cannot & should not fold. I'm just never folding that, ever, & yes, it was a standard cooler spot.

It was rather comical though when Villain said "did you not realise I had it?" It was not a rub, it was a serious question, & I'm sat there thinking, jeez, what a daft thing to think or say!

It was FL, by the bye, but it was late stage, 2 Tables left from 15 starting Tables, so the Blinds were huge. As you know, it's well nigh impossible to go skinto at FL Tourneys inside the first 4 or 5 levels.

I found FL perplexing whilst I was in Vegas, as I played a few HORSE Tourneys, these are FL for the most part. Early doors, I ended up so many times with, in say Stud or Omaha 8 or better, with 2nd nut/2nd nut in a multiway pot, getting something like 16/1. How can we fold at those prices?! I never did, & I always lost, lol.
