Anyone going to spt from bristol or near? and tips for accomodation

hi all this will be my first spt and although i cant wait to go i was wondering if anyone was possibly leaving from bristol, passing through it or near it and would like to let a sexy hitchhiker come along to keep you company if i chip in for petrol, i promise no hatchets. :) 

Also does anyone have any tips for staying up there on a budget and the best places to stay?

    i am going up on the friday will be coming back hopefully late evening sunday after taking down 1st prize ha!, going to play the night before, im travelling up from cardiff, so could easily pick you up from somewhere near the m4, if you want. 
    I have had a look at a few of the hotels nearby on laterooms. im probably going to book hylands hotel. seems to have half decent reviews and its pretty cheap, only 32 quid  a night for a single room and 48 for a twin. its only a bed to sleep and leaves more money for side events.

    BOOBOO that would be fantastic id prob have to get the train upto cardiff though would you be able to pick me up from there? and the room price is perfect. Unless  somebody else posts and goes through bristol ill def be up for sharing a room if ok with you and as you said it will cut costs for side events. Ill pm you about it buddy :)

     i will pick you up from bristol as long as you can get quite close to the m4 because i could just go to bristol then go up the m5

    I have booked into the holiday inn on the M1 j25 it was only £65 for the 2 nights and 10 mins from casino if this helps

    WOW GOOD PRICE? how u get this? i called them saying its £63 per night? is it the one on castle bridge?

    No. Junction 25 is Sandiacre, outside of Nottingham heading towards Derby, will be a 7 mile Taxi ride / drive to DTD

    Im going on the friday as well mate if you want a lift to and from the hotel to the casino then give us a shout as im driving as I dont drink
