Rake

Started playing cash.

Found myself calling somebodies all-in. 15 pound pot. Turn over same hand and it's a split pot.

Now i end up coming out with 50p less lol. What's the rake percentage? Seems a bit harsh that!

    what where the blinds in this game? secondly, if the blinds are high and if theres an odd number of chips the extra chips go to the right of the dealer. if this is the case the opponent benifited from this,

    to my knowledge which may be incorrect there is no rake in cash games.

     The pot was split as we had the same hand, and i came out of it 50p down.

    Blinds were 5p/10p

    This is where you pay the most rake Don, there's a maximum limit but you pay 5% of the pot up to that limit

    i didnt used to know how poker sights made money till i read about it on poker stars, the site will take 0-5% of each pot, which is annoying but thats the price you pay for such good softwhere.

    Yeh it's definetly worht it for the software, what got me slightly annoyed is that it was a split pot, so we still ended up losing mulla :( lol. Stopped the cash games no anyhow :)
