    No I am not........;)

    Thanks for the Q.

No, that is not the case.

At present, SOME are, (there are a few this afternoon I believe) & more will be added in due course. I would hope - fingers crossed - that Late Reg comes - permanently - to Main Events & Headline Tourneys some time next week.

Please note Late Reg will nit, in any circumstances, be available for Rebuys.

on late registration tournies does it take the blinds what you should have paid if you had been in from the start?

No you still get the same number of chips as if you had registered at the start.

What do you hate about late reg? The bigger prizepools?

We're losing more and more of the features that made Sky Poker unique. The lack of late registration for those who couldn't be bothered to register in advance was one of the plus points. Now that's gone.

Agreed. These things can improve the games/prizepools/pay-outs/numbers on SP. It really is crucial for those games where the buy-in is less than £6 ...

That sort of post is what I would expect of a bored teenager, not one whose opinion is usually respected around here.

I've played in a couple of tournaments today with late reg, fields and prize pools are definitely much bigger than usual, so late reg gets a thumbs-up from me.

For example, I'm currently playing in the 1-30pm £200 gtd £5.75 Bounty Hunter. When the first hand was dealt 57 players had entered, that had risen to 83 by the end of late registration. 83 is very unusual in this tournament, most days it ony just manages to clear the guarantee.

You can expect to see the Guarantees be increased on many tourneys soon, too. I think this will happen first on the smaller Tourneys.

    We shall see.....;)

There's been a thread started on the first period about the Late Reg facility and why it shouldn't be extended to an hour! Now for me (and it seems the general concensus) that 20/30 mins is fine but anymore than that i find a bit off and the poker can turn into bingo for the 2nd half hour ... im talking from experience when this was first brought in on Ladbrokes & 365 and just hope SP stick to their guns and keep it as it is!

    Hi Kev,

As I indicated, everything as to Late Reg will be reviewed in due course, & no decisions have yet been made as to these matters.

The plan will be to try & get the balance right, but inevitably, some will prefer less time, some more.

    Such is life. ;)

    Late-reg is the future.

It perhaps encourages people to play games that if there was 10-15 minutes before the tournament started, wouldn't have played, therefore increasing the prizepools.
You are instantly starting a game instead of having to wait for it to start.

I asked this, it's technical reasons, as in, they can't actually do it yet. Not just a decision to exclude rebuys from late reg. (Sky Adam)
