This hand is from a 2.20 deepy.

My reads on both players are irrelevant because it was obv that one of them had a straight (turns out they had both flopped a straight).

I have posted the whole hand because like i said it is pretty obv i'm behind here, I even said as much in the chat box.

Anyway, should i have just set them in on the flop? given the stack sizes I thought I'm not folding because if I miss housing up I still have 40 bb and if I hit I'm laughing!! Was I right to take the gamble or as played should I have folded??

To be honest, on the flop with their stack sizes, I wouldn't have even called the raise, I'd have just stuck them all in.

But yeah think you gotta call on the turn, you're getting 3 to 1 on your money, some of the time, you'll be good and have to dodge str8 outs and sometimes you'll house up.

Always hard to fold a set so just ul.

At least you made it to HU, you were just unlucky to be up against THS finest!!! ( smiley winkey thingey )

lol yeah wp in that...a deserved victory.

re the hand, I was certain one of them had flopped the straight but because of the stack sizes I would still have 40bb left if I lost. I was never folding because I win a massive pot if I house up, I guess the only mistake was not sticking the lot in on the flop?
