Here goes for todays losers, I mean Four Candles Ratings
iiii - Shamal Nibras -Goodwood 4.55 -5-1- I dont give many Hannon horses so take note of this one. As said before the form of Trade Commisioners race at Salisbury working out well and this horse came second in this. Hopefully Richard Hughes can magic another superb finish out of this one. He has taken away two lots of money from me this week with late swoops so owes me one.
iii - Colour Vision - 3.15 - 11-4 Mark Johnston's horses seem top love Goodwood and as this is a Johnston "reject" and Ascot gold Cup winner I think he will do the cup double.
ii - Ahern 2.45 - 2-1 - Got to stick with this horse and if he can get out of stalls quickly this time I am sure he is a winner. Might be my heart ruling my head but oh well Im not perfect.
i - Good Morning Star -25-1 3.45 -Last time this was let out at a big price it won at Chester in bottomless and Mr Johnston reckons it is better on good ground. 3rd to Shantaram last time who I strongly fancy for Leger so at 25-1 got to be worth a chance.
bell my mate whos a shrewd cookie tells me to get on rebel fitz at galaway today. Posted by andybuck
yeah i liked the profile of rebel fitz for this too, you could give half the field a chance, ill just be sticking with Hourigans runner though at a price
changed the doubles to £2 win rather than the e/w so a double would be nice and all 5 to place id take that now. if only it were that easy..............
ooooooooh was counting the mullah with assizes in the double with stirring ballad right up until the line looked winner all over with 1/2 furlong to go! ah well. well done anyone backed rebel fitz, liked the look of him before and wouldnt begrudge the trainer the winner. my pick run with the wind was unlucky to be directly behind the 2 fallers and young Heskin actually did well to manouvere his mount away from them and not get brought down himself, but scuppered any momentum. the jockey put me off plan A yesterday when rubbishing his chances in interview on RTE. id liked the look of him also and ran a blinder!! such is life and racing!
