The proudest two moments in my life are, amazingly, not poker related. The first one was when I took my first unaided steps after my back surgery. Getting used to having feeling in my legs again took some doing! The second one was when my girls were one and two and I had strapped them into their car seats. Just before I started the car, my eldest said "Daddy, could you put freebird (the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic) on please" My youngest said " Yes Daddy, fweebyrd" So young but they have such a great taste in music already!
Have a great show and run well on the tables all
Can we just say that if Richard Orford posts that he won an SPT Side Event...
...it does not count!
Have a good show
Just wanted to post a hand request from a mastercash table you were covering on tuesday night involving Greghogg, Tommyd and Offshoot and a hand that happened just after you had gone off air.
I wasnt actually at the table but when watching it i saw this hand and just wondered if it was a classic case of one player sensing weakness and floating the flop then the player on the button knowing this was happening then making a play to take down a pot which he knew was up for grabs, or perhaps i am totally wrong and he actually had a hand
Anyways i just thought it looked a interesting hand to show tonight so wrote down the ID after it happened.
Hand id: 0548183080 mastercash 13 1/8/2012 (could be 31/8/2012 though cos was right at time show was finishing).

My proudest moment in poker....

has to be when I went top of sharkscope's Double Your Money wins in a row leaderboard, yes a brag! But what makes me even more proud is it has network 'SkyPoker' next to my name, and yes I would say anything to win a seat!
Have a good show, Derek.
Nobody can remember it Rich. Must have been a dream.
A bad dream!
Very proud of this one as it shows me INFRONT of current Tour de France and Olympic champion and all round good egg, Bradley Wiggins (I'm the one in the red and black pretty much in the centre of the picture, Wiggo is 5 behind me in the red, white and blue, photo taken at Herne Hill Velodrome in 2006).
This one is was taken at Mildenhall grass track meeting in 2008 (tenuous Olympic bit - this is organised every year by Victoria Pendletons dad, Max) and show me after winning the coverted World Hoop Race Championship, a very silly event which I can only describe as a cycling equivalent of musical chairs:
This is either an inspired play by offshoot where he is squeeze semi-bluffing the flop with spades and overs... or... hes trying to build the pot with a strong value hand... ( a set would be my best guess)
Tbh even i dont know which one! Tommy has worse air than me tho thats a certainty
have a great show .
My proudest moment was receiving a medal off the queen for dancing in front of her for the golden jubilee.
Mel
have a great show and enjoy yourselves.
my biggest sporting brags were when i beat the world champion field archer at junior level (not at the world championships though lol) and then being indoor scotish field archery junior champ. doesnt sound much until i mention that i am registered blind.
best poker brag was coming 2nd in the survivor series after only playing for about 4 months. i was well chuffed. i have learned a lot from watching sky poker.
onwards and upwards :-)
