Bad bluff?...how should i have played it, if at all?

Hi folks

A bit of frustration and tilt were contributory factors here, me thinks. Player to my right had been calling AI's with junk and sucking out numerous times(at least the chat box didn't respond!). Is my play poor here? What would you do? Maybe ai post flop better even though he'd have carried on with a set. My equity v 25% opening raise range makes me a 2 to 1 dog on the turn according to pokerstove. Your thoughts wuld be appreciated here. I may as well gain some knowledge eh? Cheers....

Definitely just fold pre, your other option is shove, but you can't call with less than with J9s with 20BB, especially OOP.

Once you've called, don't donk bet, think you just have to check/fold.

    Cheers fellas

Deep down, i knew it...just a bit tilted i feel. Almost as if i wanted to get away from the monitor! Probably, ok to call then ch/fold mode eh? I think some downturn has had me grasping at straws lately TBH.

I don't know if I've misunderstood your post, but no it's not ok to call and then check/fold.

When you have less than 20BB, you can't be calling raises with the intention of folding post-flop.

    Hi Ploppy
I didn't feel a need to remove the persons name in this case as it only concerned my play , not his. I wouldn't have minded the reverse being done. There was no poor play from him, in my opinion.
PS I do normally remove a players name as the prob usually involves the opponent. This one didn't...it was my tilted play. All the comments have involved me NOT him.

However, if more people feel i should then i will ...cheers

I tend to always edit the name out incase someone takes offence, but yeah in this spot its unnecessary.  I still would though.

It's frequently beneficial to include the opponent's name. Most players wouldn't mind unless you're accusing them of being bad, "fishy" or displaying a hand in which they are likely to be criticised by other posters. When that's not the case, I wouldn't exclude their name unless they asked me to...

There's no real reason to remove the player's name here.

By the way, I'm in the "fold pre-flop" camp on this hand.

Your hand is not good, you're out of position and your stack is too short to be calling with marginal hands.
