Heads Up Shuffle Feedback

Hi,

I meant to send some feedback on when it was on the live show, but I was playing the tourney and heads up is so intense it's difficult to take a break to write emails :-)

Overall I really like the tournaments, I think the idea of a heads up MTT is really good and allows people who enjoy heads up play to have a crack at some bigger prizes and take a break from the SNG or cash grind.

I also think it's a good opportunity for people we don't play a lot of heads up to get some practise in against a number of different opponents for a fairly low investment.

The only criticism I would make is that the blinds go up a little too quick and it's not long before your'e in a flip fest.

This isn't such an issue if you just want a quick tourney which is often the case, but it would be nice to try a slightly slower format with a bit more play in it.

Thanks to Sky for adding the new tourneys and looking forward to seeing more innovations.

Cheers,
Doug
p.s. the "o" key on my lappie is a bit dodgy so apologies for any weird typos.

Thanks for the feedback, DOOOG. I think a few more of these are going to be added to the schedule so you'll be able to enjoy a few more of them.

Re: the blind structure, it's a brand new thing for us (in before competitors, too) so it's always going to be a case of needing reviewing. The general vibe I am getting is that the HU element of it means the blinds can't be too slow otherwise the pace slows down and folks end up sitting around for too long. Of course, that view could change and we tend to check through and review things like this on a regular basis.

Now, I wonder if the Community would go for a Heads Up Shuffle comp.... Hmm.

Makes sense, it does seem to be working as I generally don't have to wait too long for a new oppo when I knock someone out.

The only bug I've noticed is sometimes when you swap opponents you end up with the wrong avatar. Doesn't bother me but as I work with commercial websites myself I know it's useful to get feedback about such things.

I think you guys do an excellent job responding to feedback, I can't think of another site poker or otherwise that actively encourages and embraces customer feedback as much as this site does.

Look forward to playing some more shuffles.

    Cheers,
    Doug
