I signed up to sky via the 'refer a friend' which clearly states this on the T&C : " All referred customers will also automatically qualify for the welcome bonus up to a maximum of £1000, in addition to the £25 refer-a-friend bonus. You are also eligible to receive the completely free £5 if you enter promo code POKER on registration."

Then I suddenly find out that it is now not running even though it says it is on here. 

I am amazed that it is allowed to advertise something that is not available. Annoyed.

    I don't know about the £5 but the Refer a Friend is certainly still in operation as i have just completed and received it.

    u have to depsoit and earn x amount of cash for points before your eligable for the refer a friend bonus me thinks

    That is exactly what I was thinking. They advertised it so should have to fufill this. 

    As for the £25 I am glad at least that is running still, however I was looking to earn enough points to get me at LEAST £100 in £5 bonuses and TBH i feel robbed.

    Hopefully someone at sky will see this and give me an answer.

    They will tell you to contact customer care mate...

    "contact us" at the bottom of the page... links to e-mail address/live chat or a phone number. I find phoning them is best tends to get it sorted quicker...

    I'm sure this is still advertised on the TV Channel too, seems odd.

    It's pretty clearly still advertised on the promotions page:

    If that's the reason you signed up, and you fulfilled all the criteria, it should be honored in my opinion.

    I know thats what I thourght, but non of my £5 have been credited. When i contact customer care they say it is not running and i only get 2x £2500 freerolls. sigh.

    12:58:32 When the referred player has played the correct amount of cash hands (as per the offer page)

    I reffered a friend and they reached the requirement last night but no bonus has come through. They said leave it 72 hrs.

    You may not get this issue cleared up on here as it is a customer care issue.

    Try live chat, I find it is the best way to confirm things and you can copy/paste what has been said if you are given information you believe is incorrect.

    It may be that you just need to wait for the bonus and it is not an instant payment. Good luck.

    Hi, Thanks for the post. I know that takes a while to be in the account.

    The thing what I am annoyed about is the £1000 welcome bonus where you get £5 for every 75 points. It clearly says on the refer a friend section T&C that you still get this. However I have not recieved a penny and customer care says it has been cancelled. It has still not been changed on the website and I find this misleading.

    Sorry to hear you have been experiencing problems regarding our Refer a Friend promotion recently.

    Unfortunately, the Welcome Bonus of £1,000 is no longer available.

    If you have read the terms and conditions, you will have seen the following:

    Sky Poker reserves the right to add, remove and/or amend any of these terms conditions at any time.

    Which, in this case, due to our Welcome Bonus changing, has occured. We will get the terms updated asap and can only apologise for the confusion. Our refer a friend bonus works in conjunction with the Welcome Bonus at that time.
