I have formed an opinion of the ideal time period that Late Registration should remain open for. If there was a standard maximum time, and to help skypoker people in their deliberations, what would you like to see?

....As an alternative take on this, would it be feasible to have late registration dependent on big blind levels, eg; a tournament is typically 200 bb's, so late registration could be based on a percentage of bb's eg; upto 25 or 50bb's before it is closed for registration........just an idea.

i wanted to keep this poll to one specific idea though. that is, should there be a standard period, what period should that be? hopefully this will help skypoker evaluate things. my feeling is that many people will have tried registering late to experiment. having done so, their opinions will be invaluable. the luxury of having hindsight to make decisions in the future.
No late reg on any timed tourny or satillite would be a start. I would favour late reg for the first 4 levels of other tournies. If you want it to be a set time for all tournies then probably 40 mins would be fair

An hour is fine for deepstacks and other tournaments that are structured to last a similar length of time. Whereas 20 minutes is more appropriate for 'scarys' and the like.
With 'variable' not being an option I voted for 30 minutes because it seems the best compromise.
Depends on the tourney; one size doesn't fit all. An hour is fine for deepstacks and other tournaments that are structured to last a similar length of time.
