Fine to Shove?

Am I fine to shove here? After he'd clicked it back, I was thinking my overcards are probably no good, but wanted to get it in when I had the most equity. I probably have no FE here though... but don't wanna let him get away on later streets if it runs out well for me.

Was treating the shorty shove as basically just dead money.

It's nice to Iso the shorty, but don't I wanna try to make the most out of AQs and try to win a decent pot from the guy with a a full stack?

I think as you played it is completely fine Paul.

He might do with a pair of 10s in order to make you fold and go against the all-in player.

    Full marks from me.

I prob 3bet pre but as you just called I`d be happy gettin it on the flop pretty much always unless the opponent is the tightest of all tightest.

3b pre as you're likely to be ahead of shortys range and guy in the middle can't have much. It's unlikely you're gonna win a good pot. £1 is decent at 4nl

I don't get that comment, 4NL is probably the easiest level to win a decent pot, so many players will stack off 100BB with worse than TP, so why wouldn't I want to try and take him for a full BI?

I'm well confused by your thought process Percival cos I know you're a very competent player. Surely what you're saying is the same as, 'don't play AK against 72 cos he might outflop you'.

I'm aware he might outflop me, but I think I'm capable of getting off the hand if I don't think I'm ahead, and when I am ahead, I can get 100BB, rather than 25BB in just basically a race.

I look forward to reading it :)

One of my main concerns is that if I 3bet, shorty has to jam which we probably all call, and then pot is £1.80 ish and I don't have room to manoeuvre because any bet commits me to the pot. Obviously I commit on this flop but that's cos it's a good flop for me.
