Hey everyone,

On the subject of bigger buy-in tournaments, we have decided to run an additional tournament this evening!

The tournament will be a £4,000 Guaranteed Bounty Hunter with a direct buy-in cost of £55.00. The start time will be 9pm.

If you feel like the direct buy-in may be a little on the steep side then we have laid out a number of different satellites to suit bankrolls of all types.

Firstly there will be a number of £4,000 B/H Directs, whereby the top two players are guaranteed a seat in tonights tournament, all at a cost of just £4.80. (Max 25 runners)

Secondly there will be a £4,000 BH Semi at 7pm where 1 in 5 will win a seat at £12.00 buy-in. Into this semi-final will be £4,000 BH Micro's (1 in 5) at just £2.60.

Finally, after last nights trial run, there will be a number of '£4k BH All-In Sat's! The last TWO players standing will win a seat worth £55.00, all for just £3.

Hope you enjoy and let us know how you find the tournament :)

Thanks,
Joe

Stop making these 'all-in' sats so attractive,as you are forcing me to play them!!!!!

Bit of added value for you folks in a special lunchtime tourney....

There's a new Poker Social timed tourney in the lobby at the moment. Kicks of at 1pm, and if 100 or more players take part we'll give the winner a seat to the £55 buy-in Bounty Hunter.

    Easy.

    Hi Mohican,

Please note that we have changed the All-In satellite slightly tonight so that it is consistent with last night's. The slightly ammended satellites are £3.00 to enter but guarantee the top TWO players a seat in tonights £4,000 Bounty Hunter!

Hope you enjoyed them last night and give them a go this evening :)

    Hi Joe & Dave,

Just a quickie, what happened to the T T & T thread I thought you were using it to inform the forum of things like this, as well as information with regard to tournament buy ins & guarantees?

The reason I ask Dave is because I missed your post about the 1:00pm tourney.

If it was in a locked thread I would have read the post & not assumed it was relating to the 4K Guaranteed BH tonight.

     Hi Dave,

Thanks for putting this thread up top &  as it is locked then I /we will be aware of a change to the number of posts. Nobody should have any excuses or be able to moan now.  It won't happen I know.

Hopefully my comments are seen as constructive & in some way help yourself  & Tikay in doing what is an almost impossible job trying to please everyone.

    Keep up the great work

    Mike

Can we have some turbo tournaments plz?

Still no replacements for the Thews @ 10, 500 & 250 gtd velocities which were taken down 9 days ago.

I can't believe you haven't tried turbo bounty hunters yet? Why not? Seems obvious...

Wud prefer turbo freezeouts but BH's wud be fine. Better than nothing anyway.

The action in BH's is massively over hyped imo, they will play fine.

Why is this tournament not on tonight aswell?  It smashed the guarantee last night so no reason not to put it on again tonight.  All the tournaments on other sites are on each day whereas sky decide to run them on a weekly basis.  Please put this tournament on again tonight sky.  Tonight there is only 1 tournment worth playing the £33 double stack.

Yes i will be playing in this aswell but the amount of big tournaments on sky at the minute needs to be increased if they are ever going to be able to attract more serious mtt grinders at the moment there is just 1 or 2 tournaments max each night for them to play.  This just doesnt cut it for someone who perhaps multitables 10 tourneys a night.

    Hi Bearlyther,

As time goes on we will be adding more and more higher buy-in tournaments. Last nights Bounty Hunter was a trial run that went very well and bodes well for future tournaments of these types.

As you can understand, we can't just flood the lobby with these types of tournaments and introducing these will be a gradual process. We have added more and more larger tournaments (the £1,000 Freezeout at 5pm and £1,000 BH at 6pm) as well as accomodating these with various satellites and this will continue into the future :)

    Hope this answers your question,

    Joe

Thanks for the reply Joe.  Looking forward for the site to prosper with bigger tournaments then in the future would be great to see it happen.
