Alright guys

I having just been watching the sky channel and heard scotty77 say if he had to start over again and had only £100 to play poker with he would start at  the micro stakes and play loads of tables.  Well my question is how many tables would you have to play at time to see any sort of profit from those tables?  Bearing in mind people will call you with anything........ And usaully hit all the time

They don't usually hit all the time, that's nonsense. If they call with the worst hand then you will win more often than them.

I'd say 10BB per hour is a decent win rate, so long-term you're winning about 40p per table per hour.

I've been 4tabling 2p/4p recently, have played about 3 hours altogether of 4 tables and I'm £22 up. You can win, and win plenty, you just gotta stay tight and disciplined.

4 tables at 2/4p all at the same time?? How many of those tables do you normally leave with profit on 2 out of the 4? What time do you normally play for this to work? Late at night??

I only play one format at a time or it wrecks my head, so when I play cash it's only cash.

I don't really know about the how many tables in profit but it's irrelevant, all that matters is the overall profit. Sometimes a table will be 1BI down, break even, or 1BI up, or lots of other variables. Multi-tabling just helps you iron out variance/play hands faster, so if you're a winning player, it'll help you see the fruits of your skill quicker.

I work 9-5. When I play cash it's usually sometime between 9pm and midnight (and yes the games are easier at this time)

I withdraw a large amount of my br at the start of June and left myself £100.

I started 12 tabling NL4 and on a good 1-2 hr session could easily win 5+ buy ins. Won over 10BI on a number of occasions.

Since then my BR is again over 4 figures.

You jstjust need to fing a style that can beat which ever level you at and slowly add more tables. Don't rush into playing too many at a time.

You could be right - However £1000.27p is over 4 figures but could be classed as 6 figures (Technially) :)

Actually, pence and cents are not included when describing the numbers of a monetry amount.

eg: £10k is 'technically' £10000.00, but would always be referred to as a 'five figure' sum.
