Would you have played it the same? If not, what would you change? Once I pretty much have a lock on the hand on the turn, bearing in mind his stack size, should I bet smaller to get calls from weaker hands and still leaves the pot big enough for a river shove?

i like the big flop bet, they make these tiny blocker bets and 99% always call the raise with the gutshot or watever junk they have

I think the flop bet is a bit big. I would prefer one round 0.25p.

You turn the nuts( can't think opponent has J8). I consider checking here to see what he does. He might have an attempt to take the pot. If he does raise, if he doesn't and he checks just bet hard the river.

why is the flop bet to big?  is it because you want to keep him in or is it because you want to keep it multiway? or are there other reasons?

I wanted to get maximum value and not let anyone draw cheaply. My thinking (and I think it's right) is that at this level, most of the opponents if they'd have have called a raise to 25p, they'd also call a raise to 36p so I might aswell get max value.

Also, because it was 6-way, and the loose calls you get at this level, I felt pretty sure I was going to get at least 1-2 calls, which is fine by me, I don't mind narrowing the field with 2pr on a board like this.
