Add on at the start of the £11 rebuy

At the start of the £11 open you cannot get your addon until after the first hand.  An that other site you can get it right at the start before the first hand is played.  Therefore in theory it makes since to open fold AA on the 1st hand as if you win a small pot of 100 chips you will have 2100 chips as opposed to open folding then you could have 4000 chips the next hand. Please sort this out sky so you can get the rebuy before the 1st hand.

    Bearlyther, this is pretty ludicrious, I see what you're saying, but it's makes such a miniscule difference, and yes you could have 2100 instead of 4000, but it would have cost you £11 less.

    What you're saying that you'd rather fold AA is ludicrous.


    Sky software is constantly evolving and it's limitations being pushed. 


    Having to wait one hand is no real problem. 


    Paying twice the entry for 4k chips when you could get AA and win the first hand is beyond stupid. wp.

    Wouldnt fold aa obv would play normal but itd be annoying to go just above starting stakc so you cantrebuy..

    Well i would open fold it in this situation so i could have 4000 chips the next hand but everybody to their own opinion.  I have found it annoying on a couple of occasions i can recall were i just went over starting stack and i was annoyed because i couldnt have the 4000 stack so i ended up just going allin every hand with any 2 cards to gamble for a double up or then i could rebuy if i went out and have 4000 chips.  I ended up losing every hand i did this and the guy to the right off me had like 20000 in chips all myn lol this was about a month ago.  I think i was in that rebuy that night for around £120.  I learned this rebuy strategy from the best poker coach in the business waterboat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=431YdvGKY0o

    Put a note on Bearlyther too, if he has more than starting stack after the first hand of a rebuy, he's gonna ship ATC... great strategy

    Hi everyone,

    Having looked into this issue, we have slightly modified the re-buy function on these types of tournaments.

    You no longer have to lose any chips at the start of the tournament before you can re-buy, however you do have to view the first hand.

    I hope this makes the playing experience a little better and you no longer have to fold those pocket aces ;)

    Give it a try in this weeks £5,000 Rebuy Open on Friday night at 8pm.

    bearlyther's op does make sense, if you win any chips in the first hand (forget the pocket Aces), then you can't take the addon as you have more chips than your starting stack.

    now you can just rebuy without having to lose any chips

    what if you double up on the first hand, can you still rebuy - mmmmmmm - hope so
