Late registration requests--- post your pleas please

A few people have asked for late registration to be extended to particular tournaments, most of these people are just too lazy and lethargic to register on time--- What's your excuse for wanting late registration on certain tournaments?

I would like to see it on the 11.15 deep stack because it often gets around 28 runners, and I prefer it to have 30

I dont understand why some have 30 mins late reg yet the deepstacks are only late reg for 1 level (12 minutes)

It's all the Guaranteed deepies nutter £150's and £100's. Late reg closes after level 1. For a tourney that can run for 4 hours that seems illogical.

Very strange, I'm sure it was two levels a few days ago, maybe Mr sky man can enlighten us?

I dont particularly like the late registration in general as it effectively turns every tourny into a rebuy. This changes the dynamic of the game in my opinion. late reg is ok , but if you get knocked out early that should be it, you should not be able to re-enter.

    Just my 2d'sworth !

You can't re-enter a regular tourney that has late registration

Sure I played one the other day that when I got knocked out early I had the chance to re-enter, it was not a normal re-buy

Did you actually press the confirm button. I tried to re-enter in a late register and it's not until you actually confirm you're buy-in that it denys your attempt.

    Depends on structure.

Should be able to keep registering until starting stack is maybe 25/30xbb?

    Afternoon Puc.

There appears to be some confusion here.

Late Reg has its pros & cons, some like it, some not so much, but what Late Reg does not & cannot do is turn the Tourney into a Rebuy, as you have suggested.

"Late Registration", "Re-Entry" & "Rebuy" are three COMPLETELY different things.

Sky Poker do have "Late Registration", as do most Online Poker Sites.

"Re-Entry" is NOT available on SkyPoker.com.  "Re-Entries" are more usually associated with B & M (Live) Poker.

Rebuys are different again, & can be found Online, at SkyPoker.com & most poker sites, & in B & M Casinos.

Sky Poker do not allow Late Reg or Re-Entries on Rebuys.

Hope that clears up the confusion, but if you have any further questions, fire away.

    Take care now.

     Thanks Tikay

But ladies and gentlemen, and flopwit flapheads---- Which particular tournaments that do not currently have late reg would you like to see it applied to?

i dont like the idea of 1 hour late reg i think 30min is ample if you cant decide in that time then you shouldnt be in the race, you dont see BOLT turning up late for his races do you! Also dont like the fact they have put on late reg for the £100 and £200 gar late on in the evening was fine as it was and at that hour i wanna know im gonna get to bed at a reasonable time at least 3am lol.
