DYM ladder challenge??

Hi all ,


       Just been reading a very interesting post by woogie in which he mentions the DYM ladder challenge.
Being new to poker is this ok for a newbie to have a go at and where do i find out more info on the challenge? I spend most my time in DYM and am having lots of fun but also tend to tilt quite a bit and make bad decisions and have to kick myself after.  This weekend i did enter a couple of sats for the SPT but struggled quite a bit and again made some bad calls , So i'm going back to the poker books this week to try and brush up a little . Will also be going back to the DYM's £0.60p  in which i don't do to bad .........

Also made a massive blunder last night by showing the other half how to play in which she enjoyed it , so now looks like i might need to buy another lap top

Many thanks for the link , How much do i need in my BR to do this ? Because looking at it you don't make enough from the win to pay for the next level of DYM.

Hi Limmy, I'm the guy running the challenge at the moment. In the early stages you won't quite make enough in profit to play the next level, but it shouldn't be too much short. I believe if you have  around £2-£3 in your account, then you can do it.

I've put a table in the opening post about the amount of profit you will have made at each stage of the challenge etc, so if you go all the way you'll have invested about £2 and won £280 + a Primo seat

Cheers for the information , I will be starting this challenge on Friday , will keep me busy the for the weekend and will also keep my BR ok only loosing a quid a time

hi Peter, it's not looking like I'll make it to the grand final sadly, funds rather tight as bud's not been well and off work for several weeks now.

shame really cos I enjoyed meeting everyone in Blackpool.

WOW what a great blog , i was on the edge of my seat reading this , so glad you did it , I had to laugh at you jumping around with the wins i do this in the 0.60 dym's god knows what will happen if i ever win big lol
