Okay this is how it went down.. Is my oppenent ever folding in this situation? can he ever have a hand to fold to these odds? I put him on TT / JJ top of his range.. any help would be appreachiated, should i have raised pre? folded pre? given up after he flat calls the turn? I was chip leader at this point in the tourney playing this hand against the 2nd chip stack! suicide? lol. Would like to hear what you guys think my opponent has and what plays I could have made differently.. Thanks

Can't see starting stack sizes so not sure about the call pre. Give up on turn, if your read is right on opponant what hand are you trying to represent that has an 8 in it? 88? 78s maybe? looks more like you hand is a draw or a single pair hand as an over pair would have 3bet pre. If your read on player is correct i can't see that he is going to fold. Getting into bluffing situation for stacks against the only guy who can really hurt your stack at this point in a tourny seems like a bad idea to me.

    Fold pre

I don't mind flatting a min-raise with 22 pre as you and the other big stack are like 60+ BB deep, but just an easy check/fold on flop. If you wanna take one stab at the point, it's not the worst thing in the world, and you will probably flat pre with alot of hands that like this flop (this deep) but when he calls, there's no way you can put another chip in unless you hit a 2.

EDIT: Thought it was 2nd in chips that min-raised pre, but it was the really shorty. Think a fold pre is best

Set mining is fine with 22 as a 2 on the flop will normally pay out, IMO I dont mind the lead out on the turn as dont think you could expect a better flop for 2s and Ak/Q may just fold. The call on the turn says give it up!!!!!
