I think these are great really are to earn quick points!

Anyway im just curious is it -EV to play these to much

I played these lastnight for about an hour between £1.10 and £5.50 at times had like 10 on the go and managed to be about £12 down so i think earned around 500 points in that time.

My question is if even b4 you add the rake on payed is it profit in the long run if you earn a substantual amount of cash for points?

They are only good for one thing mate and that is what you said ( boosting points ).

You could NEVER make a profit off these playing them alone unless you ran like god.


But if like me you set yourself a c4ps target they are a great way of making up the deficit each day

I've worked it out myself as to whether could make a profit from them long-term I.E. if you get to a high enough C4P threshold, will you earn more than you'd lose in rake. My workings only went up to about 20k points I think and even at that level, you're still less than break even, assuming you win exactly 50% obviously, which you should do in the long-term.

Just dont do what I did yesterday.  

Went to play a £5  RR only to find I had accidently played a £50 one.  Split pot first hand, won it on the second. Thank God ;o)
