Decided to turn 10s into a bluff here i cold called the 3 bet in the big blind with 1010 this may be a fold pre but at least i had a plan for a decent flop.  My plan was to get him to fold aces or kings from the turn i could very well represent jacks in this spot i think and get him to fold aces or kings the way the hand was played.  To be fair i think he played the hand well aswell letting me barrell off.

Without even seeing the HH, how do know he has AA/KK just because he 3bet? (presumably in pos, unless it was the SB)

Couldn't we just say everytime we cold call a 3bet that I'm going to get him off his hand on the turn? Edit - if that's your 'plan')

    Rann calls £6more

    4spades
    7diamonds

    Lnarin bets £15
    Bearlyther calls
    Rann folds

    TURN
    J spades

    Lnarin checks
Bearlythere bets £35 leaving £41 behind
    and gets called

The fact that Lnarin is able to c/c the nut flush after you flat that flop clearly shows you are playing too aggro / predictable. Lnarin knows you will over value an overpair here and also continue bluffing when you shouldnt & is letting you barrell off with either. Really bad bluff on turn given stacks, not sure why lnarin didnt put it in on turn but was right not to wp.

When you bluff this turn what better hands do you think fold? It's pretty tough for him to fold better on river getting those odds, you also have some showdown value

Edit, didn't see you rivered set, obv shoving fine

from memory im sure this isnt exactly how it played out, and yea from small ammount ive played with bearlyther i no how much he loves a barrel, a bit too spewy tbh, but make a harder game for me ha.
also to im sure river was a spade and NOT a 10 for a set

hmmm... i am beginning to sense somewhat of a theme here...

Splashing around is fine imo as long as your not spewing, just be aware there's a difference and its a very fine line to tippy toe on!!

yes river was a spade so i jammed trying torepresent it but you aleady had it.  With regards to showdown value i know i had no showdown value whatsoever in a 3 bet pot so thats why i ended up trying to turn it into a bluff
