Getting kinda sick of most poker noobs.

I'm starting to become dismayed by the kind of people who post moaning that their hands have been cracked etc.

That is the whole essence of the game.

Not even agreeing with those who say 'get it in good more often than not and you'll be a winner'. Why does this even have to be clarified? It's the very fabric of the game surely? It's like someone saying 'lots of times the first team to score in a footy match doesn't win'.

Stop it. Man up, accept that this is a game where you draw to make the best hand and accept it. Either that or go play snap.

Also, you moaners need to find a way to beat people who are 'donks'. If you can't beat them, that makes YOU the 'donk'.

Rant over.

I don't run bad? When i first signed up i had QQ cracked  SIXTEEN times in a row. IN A ROW. SIXTEEN.

And yes it is people's right to moan, but moaning when they're stating the obvious is just showing how ridiculous they are.

Some people think AA has a deserved right to win all the time. If they were less ignorant and did some reading they'd probably see that AA is going to get beat a decent proportion of the time and that it is COMPLETELY NORMAL.

I don't mean to come across as harsh, but i like to think i'm kinda a realist and just want people to think before they moan in the chat box when they have a hand cracked. Someone making a set is probably going to bust your AA. That is the game. It's the very essence of the game. IF they don't like it they shouldn't play!

    Hi died

Talking of having aces, my Aces cracked hand was put in the poker clinic to get advice from other players. I hope you don't think i'm moaning about it. There's a bad beats section and i've posted once for fun...purely fun. i completely agree with you about the moaning...its called injustice tilt isn't it. Mind, people are entitled as this is a forum just as you are entitled to complain about it. As long as you don't abuse anyone in particular that's fine.

I play for enjoyment personally and don't spend big enough to get upset about it. However some at the same stakes have a go at lucky suck outs/poor plays etc. Thats a hate of mine so i report it as it upsets MY enjoyment. Personally a bad beat story, i don't mind...just like your 16 QQ's...some are interesting.

Players who moan and write comments about their bad beats etc happen to be 'Ordinary Joe's', the same kind that moan about the weather or the price of utility bill's, price of cigarettes etc etc.....it's what we all do at some point or other and it's part and parcel of life.

It's just a release of pent-up frustration when thing's in life get us down or we feel we are getting a raw deal.
Now tell me that you don't ever moan about something...... the fact that you started this thread is also a 'moan' isn't it ?..........let's just all be tolerant with each other, no real harm done aye ?......be happy...:)

People who moan perhaps need to learn patience. They say luck evens out it just takes time. I have had an 8 month run where I lost every important race ; couldn't cash to save my life and came to a point where I nearly gave up . Then the Sky dealer took pity on me and I won a tournament , then cashed in another , and again and in 4 days recouped nearly all my losses. Aquick break to kick the cat does no harm and you want to share your troubles with the world - even if they don't care and the "never-ending game " hears your pain.

Yeah, raising 5x at 4NL, then getting shoved on by a very active LAG player, calling and getting outdrawn to a flush by the Q9s is definitely the wrong way to pla....wait. I thought poker was about getting as much money in with the best odds as possible?!

Out of all 16 times i think about 2 of them were just coolers, the rest i was horribly outdrawn.

Also, what does knowing how to play a hand have to do with it being outdrawn? Value betting big hands on safe boards and then getting outdrawn is worse than shoving to induce folds but at least you didn't lose?

No offence but your comment is pretty ridiculous, and as i've seen your play i'm going to probably disregard it :)

This has turned into a really negative thread. Sure people moan about bad beats, and yes it can seem silly/dull/annoying (delete as appropriate) for some people who fully understand and embrace variance, but it doesn't do any harm.

You have to understand that alot of people are recreational players, alot of them play MTTs because these are generally seen as the most fun, alot of them aren't able to or don't even understand the benefit of multi-tabling, alot of them may only play 1-2 nights of the week and may only get 1-2 MTTs in that time. So for a recreational player, who just wants fun, and doesn't understand variance, you can understand why it sucks to only play 1 night a week, and the time you do, you get quite far to get it in with AA v AJ and lose.

Not condoning the moaning, but just let it go, it's not harming anyone.

P.S. Also a bit uncalled for to basically say I'll disregard your input because 'I've seen your play', you're far from a pro (so am I before you say anything lol) and a bit of modesty goes a long way.

P.P.S The fact you got outdrawn 14 out of the 16 times, doesn't mean you played it correcetly, maybe you didn't raise enough pre, maybe you should haev 3bet, maybe you didn't protect your hand on the flop and slowplayed too much, maybe a million and one other things, but without HHs we can't say :)

The forum's a nice friendly place, let's keep it that way
