badly played hand.......do i call the river bet off???

I have played this hand poorly I reckon, I should prob have 3 bet pre??? Should I have raised on flop/turn or just given up? As played do I call off on the river, villain is capable of doing this with air,

calling or 3betting is fine pre imo. I 3b if villain likely to call with worse

I find his bet sizings weird, pot, half pot, pot. I probs just fold river readless. I don't mind calling the turn and folding the river here either, I think his 3barreling range is way narrower than his 2barreling range in this spot. I probably fold the turn readless tho but I don't think a call is bad.

I don't raise at any point

His bet sizings were weird and they were insta bets too....this made me think I could be good, up until the river where he really thought about it then stuck in the pot sized bet, really didnt know what to make of it tbh

I dunnoooooooo. I just think it's strange for someone to take his line and be bluffing on this board.

I had a very simular hand to this and I did call, they had 55. Mine was in a tourney though but I will try not to do it again!

Flatting pre is fine i call 1 of on the flop then with his bet size on the turn he is never ever bluffing here he is value betting fold turn.

I called cos I'm a donk.....I was ahead until the river, he had A8. fwiw I fold readless but i had seen this guy do the same with nothing on numerous occasions
