Low volume on table

I'm on the download and every time I open a table the volume is too low. I open a table and the volume setting is only 2 marks above minimum. I adjust to what I want (about halfway)and then click save my settings. When I open another table the volume is back down to the low setting. I tried reinstalling the download but the problem persists. Anyone got any ideas please?
