How reliable is the Hand History facility on Sky Poker?

Hi, I've never really been a big user of this facility until recently so I don't know how reliable it is.

Is it 100% accurate? How often are hands missing from your logs?

When hands do go missing, is it normally 1 or 2 randomly, or maybe like a 5 min period where there's no record of any hands?

Thnx.

Mine always seems to be intact, I look at HH regularly and I don't recall ever noticing that a hand is missing.

I don't ever recall hearing anyone complain that hands are missing from their Hand History Account.

Given that people complain about the most trivilal things these days, I'm pretty sure I'd have heard about this if there were a problem.

i look at my hh most days i never recall hands being missing altho im not a massive fan of it. Id prefer having the hands on my comp to go thru as i find you can only see hands from your last session even if you ask for the last 2 weeks and so on. to find older hands you have to be very specific i find or im using it wrong

    Thanx for all replies.

    Further question....

I think the HH thing on the browser only displays 500 hands at a time?

If I played 5,000 hands in the last 24 hours, and I lost 2 pots above £20 in 5,000 hands, however they were the first 2 hands I played....

If I filter for "losses over £20" from the last 24 hours would they show in the search results?

(If I just search all hands, obviously It would only fetch hands 4,500 to 5,000. Does this filter cover all 5,000 or only the last 500?)

    Hope you understand my question.

    thnx.

From my experience it would search all 5000 if you put that filter in.

I understood the question, but was surprised at the answer, maybe the search facility works different for cash than mtt's?

Not wishing to hi-jack the captains thread, but I have a question or questions regarding the hand history facility.

It must be over 12 months since I even checked this out, as on previous visits I concluded it didn't work or didn't do what I wanted it do.

For example I play mainly mtt's; on a quiet morning I might want to reflect on my downfalls' and search for all my hand losses of say more than 1000 chips over the last week.

As far as I can see:

    1) I can't filter searches in mtt's, so searching for losses of more than 1000 chips is not possible.

Half Way House Solution - I can 'rank my losses' by clicking the P & L tab, but the search appears to only cover the last 500 hands I have played.

    2) I would like to search for those high losses / leaks over a period of 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, I want to see if there is a pattern, (there probably is), this might help me see in the clear light of day, the blindingly obvious leaks in my game, that I chose to ignore.

However unless I am mistaken, no matter what my search criteria in mtt's, Hand History will only show me the last 500 hands I've played, which on a good day of mtt play won't cover the last 24 hours, never mind a week or a month.

Half Way House Solution - I could use the Hand History solution after every session, couldn't I.

    Conclusion

I am not sure if I am missing a trick by not understanding the capability of Hand History.

I dismissed it because I thought I couldn't use it to analyse a bunch of hands over a week or more.

If Hand History can be used to analyse more than 500 hands over a period of time, I would like to know how to do this.

After giving this some thought (Ryan on the telly has talked about analysing his hands after a session) if hand History is limited to the last 500 hands, I reckon I can still put this to good use, so I am not ending with a 'moany' complaint! ;)
