Shaun, i'm sorry if you felt i was going too deep. Probably so actually but i felt i should reply. I didn't know about PoSt of the week, i just take part in the forum. Yes my BR is bigger but ONLY after having 4 losing months out of my first five and having to redeposit. Hopefully, he's learned his lesson eh? Let's not fall out over this and say hello at the tabes, eh? Let's put an end to this matter now, eh? All the best....

It’s funny how you all bang on about my bankroll management and not 1 of you have commented about the hand or how I played it. And yes £50 is a lot of money when you’re out of work like I am. The reason I put I prefer playing better standard of players is they understand the game better like the old saying says you only get better by playing a better player. Yes I did write the thread when I just lost the hand and maybe I could have worded it better and I did have some money back so not out of the game yet.

playing better people with a shallow br you will always lose it. ok saying players know better but you end up giving to much credit to wrong player you be back on here saying your burst play at low limits and earn your seat at these tables. if your a good player you will eat the low limits up ive recently started a diary of going back to low limits when i put myself as 50nl/100nl player but i fancied a new test and finding it good i would rather lose £4 to a bingo player and then take £8 off him in time than lose £50 to a player by tryin a fancy move thinking he would fold

    Hello
Yes I agree £50 is a lot of money to lose and sorry that you are out of work.  However,  I certainly couldn't afford it and I am working!!! So in effect it wasnt actually your own money you were playing/losing with, it was my hard earned taxes which have given you the opportunity to fritter £50 away!!! I am really annoyed with your comments, and my advise to you is not to play again until you are able to fund your games/losses with your OWN HARD EARNED money!!

You never asked for any hand advice till this post

You may prefer playing better players, but it's less profitable and your risk of going bust is massive if you play with 1 buy in

As for the hand( cant see suits)

    Pre is usually a 3b

    Flop c/c

    Turn bet smaller

C/c river unless villain is a fish, which he's not, or you like paying rake and running into 22 the odd time

Right delores69 lets get one thing straight shall we it was not your taxes as you put it the money I lost it came from Sky Poker which I won in the 2 new player freerolls I played so you need to get your facts right before posting and I have paid my taxes over the years and all I have deposited was £5 which I still have not that it is any of your business what I do with MY money.

In will look for your thread, it is a intresting idea that somebodyelse spoke to me about another good cash player has droped down levels and is finding there is a lot of margins playing the low stakes game and they are doing very well at it. So I also tried it out and either I have finaly found my level or there is acutally good maoney to be made playing these guys :)

Also to the orginal poster I am realy confused what you looking for out of your thread, it realy does seem unless people agree with you your not intrested which is the wrong way to approach this.

I will remind you that I said before that you have been given some great advice from some very experianced players who are not having a dig at you but were only trying to help.

Realy it is not relavant if your in work out of work won the money playing penny up the wall the moment you play a cash game with money you cannot afford to lose you are already on the back foot. How can play poker when you are scared any beat and you bankroll has gone?

Anybody who plays cash will tell you that as long as you have a decent enough roll for the level you are playing if you are a good player through out the year there will be great, amazing and months were it dosent matter if you hit quads they would turn a royal but any decent player over the year will come out ahead.

Do not ask for advice from experianced players for free and then decided to push your point home because I am afriad you have made your second error by not taking the oppertunity to learn.

You say you are new to Sky I noticed even Tikay said about you had had some great advice and if you are not aware who he is he is one of the full time Sky presenters who is a player do some looking into his recent great cash in Vegas Omaha event as an example of the type of person that is trying to help you.

No body on here in my experiance over the years is looking to just shoot you down for the sake of it, if you get a call from a recruitment consulatant telling you about a job they could get you would you just tell them how wrong they are? No as you want to work (I hope) and in the same way some of the advice on here could have cost you a lot of money to find out.

So please do the right thing listern to the experianced people who have no intrest in helping you but are because that is the nature of Sky that makes this site so different to the others out there.

Personally I would say it takes a far bigger man to admit they are wrong and you will be amazed how much people on here would go out there way not only to help you when you ask but will be very friendly in chat at the tables.

Can I suggest if what I have said you think I am wrong please post it and I would also then suggest there is no point in this thread going on and a mod should close it?

If your playing with all your bankroll on a cash table, then the only advice you will get is - don't do it -

As for the hand, I don't think it matters the situation in which you lost your BR - just address the reason why you sat down in the first place !

As for playing better players, this is more advisable when you can sit at a table with only 10% of your roll and that's having a shot ) To be totally at ease then 1-2%

Love the hand aswell, cooler of all coolers ) ul

    good luck

The thing is its not how you played it that matters.....you can play a hand perfectly and still lose
It's the fact you are moaning to some guy for "taking all my bankroll"
And the fact is all your bankroll should not be put on one hand...because when you lose it hurts.......if your point was the guy is a fish and should of folded maybe you are right, but then he was most probably
Playing with 40/50 buyin so calling a preflop raise with a pocket pair is not going to faze him at all

And from the other thread - been playing for some years now so I am not easy to bluff and I know what I am doing

Playing with your full bankroll on one table then moaning about it here would suggest otherwise to the latter statement!

Im pretty amazed that someone has posted about losing their bankroll,Especially the way the hand has played out,Its not like he caught a miracle river.

Never put all your eggs in one basket,I have done my roll in quite a few times in the past,But would never have a go at the player on a forum,Just leaving yourself open to abuse and shows lack of class.

I have gone up to 50p £1 bb in the past,Even £2 £4 but never felt comfortable,I can play 10p 20p and feel great,Stick to the levels you feel comfortable sitting at,When these players hit miracle cards i always say to myself "The blind squirrel found a nut" It wont happen all the time.

As for playing better players,I cant agree with you there,I want to play the most useless players on the planet,Not someone who is better than me.

I dont know if cash is your game all the time,But i like to build a bit from mtt or stt's before i play cash as i find the swings can be huge,Great when winning but horrible when losing,Especially if you dont have a bankroll to back you up.

    Good luck anyway

    HI Mr Kay

    Brilliant......................

"THE BLIND SQUIRREL FOUND A NUT"

I'm going to write that on a piece of paper and stick it on my monitor.
I'll even imagine the real Peter Kay saying it, if you don't mind sir? Even funnier then.
    Made me chuckle, .....cheers!
