edited September 2012 in Poker Chat

....will be leaving on Thursday night, as follows.

The "usual" nightly Quarter-Final (£16) moves forward from 9.30pm to 8.30pm TONIGHT (Tuesday) & tomorrow (Wednesday). £16 to enter, 1 in 5 get a seat to Thursday's Semi-Final, (£72) where 1 in 5 will win an SPT Seat.

Micro Sats will run as usual, except they will run an hour earlier than usual, to accommodate the earlier Quarter Final.

Good luck if you play any of these.

Fife? Good grief, that's some journey!

Fife, where St Andrews Golf Course is. Ooohhh.....

Do make sure we get chance to have a chat this weekend, please. I was not at SPT Blackpool, but it'd be good to meet you.

    Safe journey.

I played The Old Course, but I was "pretty hopeless" & very nervous, & I said to Mr Starter "I'm scared I'll make a fool of myself, & knock it out of bounds on the first".

I mean, the Fairway to the first @ St Andrews (Old Course) is about 300 yards wide, but I am pretty hopeless.

He said "don't worry Sir, nobody knocks it OOB on the first here, it is far too wide".

    He was wrong.

I have put a posting up if anyone wants to share a lift to PM me but being traped in the car with MRBurns for 6 hours listerning to the great Bruce Springsteen I dont understand why there hasnt been a stampede to my PMs lol

Tikay come on we have a very quiet life up here in Fife and the only fun we get is telling the visitors of course the old course isnt hard to play lol If you go late afternoon you can find all the kids making money collecting the lost tourist golf balls and selling them back to them lol

I used three complete sleeves (nine balls) of Pro V1's when I played St Andrews.

Just as well I played well that day.

All these folks who live near some of our greatest golf courses!

I might add - semi-chirp - that I have a place in Lonon at present, 10 minutes from Wentworth. ;)

I think, at one of the SPT Weekends, we ought to have a little Golf Tourney, maybe do it on the Friday
