In Response to Re: Cash 4 points boost for DYM plyers : no its not. its goes against your registration fee(the rake). £1 rake=10 points e.g £2.25 dym = 3 points £3.30 dym = 3 points £2.10 hu = 1 point 60p dym =1 point £5.50 tourney = 5 points £5.75 bh = 8 points. if you still dont believe me its on the promo page where it tells you how you earn poker points Posted by TINTIN
ahh, well sorry, i thought it was for the £10 buy in equals 10 points, but having said that, i'm not saying take anything away from cash tables, i'm just saying it should also be given to all.
i didnt start this thread to compare how much rake sky make off cash to dyms or even how many points cash players get per hour to dym players, i started it as cash players get 2 different cash 4 points boosts whereas dym players get nothing!!.
Sky make rake off dyms too so why cant we get some sort of points boost bonus aswell??? This thread is not to take anything away from cash players but to try and get something similar for dym players.
DAYEZZ has it spot on doesnt he? Cash is more profitable for Sky so they can afford to give more perks. They make less money off DYMs so its completely understandable. I would like it though but cant see it ever happening.

i understand that but sky do make rake off dyms so even a 20% cash boost is better than what we got atm, we can only try lol x
its about time dym players paid more in rake, cant believe people are moaning. I say increase it to 20% rake for a dym. Posted by ajs4385
i hope that this is meant in a joking manner ajs, as a 20% rake would make winning very nearly impossible imo. if not, then i would suggest a 20% rake on every cash hand played, this would then at least be equally unfair

Without getting into an argument about which is more profitable for sky and completely derailing this thread. May I point out that the 10% rake rate we pay on sky for dyms is a lot more than most other popular sites.
Furthermore, Sky promised a big reward update shortly after removing the league, which so far, hasn't been done...
I did suggest this ages ago, just a happy hour for all SnGs when I used to play tons of HU SnGs, but I didn't get any responses (from Sky I mean).
However, TinTin makes a very good point and I've never even thought about it until he mentioned it. If I had my way 4NL would still play 2 points per 20 raked hands, not 1 but oh well, we can't all get what we want lol.

it was a joke, rake is too high for everone. Although my serious point was dym players do get a much better rakeback deal.
Bit of advice though, gimmicks like happy hours attract regs, so actually you will probably find it more profitable playing when there arnt happy hours. Its always best to play on a site that does well in attracting net depositors not a site that offers daft gimmiks that attract regs.

thanks for clearing the joke bit up,knowing of you,i did think it as such. i also said as much that dym is a better rake back than nl4 cash, which is a major factor for me playing them. dev
this has been an old ongoing thing about more incentives for dym players, sky never listened before and wont listen now, the rake they charge now is greed 10% if they lowered the rake more players would play dyms and sit and gos,but it aint gonna happen.yes sky do make more rake of cash players but u ever seen a poker site run purely on the basis of having only cash players no me nither.what sky need to do is cut the rake on dym games or add more incentives to play them, but as i said it wont happen just do as the presenters say play more tables ,wonder if they have that shoved down there earpiece every 5 mins by the suits PROMO
as i said before, if u wanna make money at poker dont chase daft point gimmiks or nice software. Find people who are spending money. Said it countless times I am sure some people listen but most dont.
