    Good luck mate.  Hope it goes well and keep us updated.  FWIW I once did a similar thing to my BR a couple of years ago.  Haven't been near to those kind of games since.  Stick to poker and you'll be alright!

    interesting read and good luck to you.

    may i suggest that self excluding from the vegas part of the site would be a good option to take away any temptation to obliterate your roll at the blackjack tables should those tilt issues arise again

    Hmm format looks familiar. Best of luck! It's a lllooooooooonnnnnnggggggg path.. My advice is to block yourself from all of Skybet/Skyvegas etc, so you can't monkey tilt ridiculous amounts away (doing this has saved me many times).

    good to hear about being banned from vegas.

    you probably did play against me as i played nl4 for a long time, won a fair bit and stepped up to nl10 where im currently battling to make progress of a similar nature.

    Very entertaining read. Probably should be up for Top Of The Posts (stickied at the top of the General Poker Chat section of the forum) and if not i'm going to nominate it so some sort of tourny entry or something could be coming your way.

    You playing NL4 then i take it?

    I've heard the biggest problem that good players have is bankroll management. That and Craps tables. Seems like you'd have had a monster 'roll by now if you coulda controlled yourself. I wish you luck and please keep updating as this has the makings of a top thread!

    Great read. If you can go the distance with this diary (most vanish within a week or two) I'm certain it'll help you solve those tilt issues.

    I've honestly tried to post the hand 20 times and it always cuts out 1/2 the screen im having a nightmare with it. Can someone please tell me how to post em? copying and pasting isnt working.

Was gonna quit after the KQ hand but got dealt AA back to back. First time i got in on the flop in a £70 pot V top pair and won. Second i limped some guy made it £5 MP SB called and i shoved....was called by 8 9 of clubs and i held in a £140 pot. Feel like i need to go to church tonight and thank someone for my good fortune...very ashamed i tilted. Starting Bankroll=£80 Current Bankroll = £202.46 Sorry For Tilting.... Stu

    theres a guide in the poker clinic, its a sticky so at the top of the page.

    i open hand in the browser. left click and drag from top left to bottom right,(theres scroll bars so keep dragging til the last character) so all the hand is highlighted, then copy and paste into a post.

    some browsers dont do it right and it always comes out as junk. its best to be on ie. this may be another problem you encountered

    you do have serious tilt issues if losing half a buyin at nl4 makes you head to nl100.

    this is gonna be a rollercoaster. whats the plans now you have a couple of hundred behind you?

    I'm a ravens fan, always entertaining making the playoffs every year but never the Sbowl. Vikings are my seconds faves though and i loved '10 when vikes and favre made the playoffs. You going to wembley?

    Hi stu was just browsing over GPC and come across your thread very intresting read,and im sure alot off people on here can relate to your story looking at the way you have started wont be long till your moving up the levels anyway best of luck at the tables bud...

    PS if your trying to paste hands onto the thread do it with the internet sky poker site and not the skypoker download .....

    When you said to me you were trying to get to 50NL as quick as possible, I didn't realise you meant by playing crazy limits like 100NL lol.
