Why didn't you c-bet? I'm guessing you would C-bet with most of your hands here. Depends on villian but you may have been able to get more, if you use better (for you) bet sizing than he did.

You got max value, but only because villain turned TPTK. 

c/c the flop is fairly transparent, your slightly under repped as it looks more like 22-77. Hence villain rightfully value betting turn and river. If he doesnt hit top pair he prob checks back turn and folds river when you Vbet.

In general i'm not overly keen on this line for value against a competent villain..

checking range on this flop should be balanced though !

Normally i cbet here with 100% of my range but just decided i would take a different line this time representing an underpair like 5s or 6s and let him barrell.  I also feel he played the hand fine as he has to bet the river for value there as a10 will be good so much of the time the way i played the hand.

Don't hate it but I prefer just cbetting flop

Whether villain has to vbet river depends a bit in you, but I suppose if you play something like 66 this way you are prob calling down
