    Gl with thread - Could you be the new Brandon Lang?

    Never been into American football but watched a film last night on BBC1 called "Two for the Money" starring Al Pacino who owns a company advising on Sports betting in American football. Makes you realise what a huge industry it is and how intersting it is

    If your into gambling and American football i,d strongly reccomend watching it - gr8 film

    Great film !    Brandon Lang   AKA John Anthony .

    I was not at all an NFL fan when i first came across this film, but thoroughly enjoyed it none the less.
    Watched most of it last night untill the game started.    Wish i could pick 8 in 10 winners !

    Although my FIRST picks were aboslutely shocking,   going to try and keep this thread open through the season and see how it goes. 

    As for tonight.   GO Denver. !

    Ok so my first weeks picks were shocking !   1 from 5.   

    Here are my NFL week 3 picks , odds in bold:

    San franciso 49'ers      -7               10/11
    New york Jets     -3                       21/20
    Green Bay packers  - 3 (Monday night)                   4/5
    Detroit lions -3                              10/11
    Pittsburgh Steelers  -4.5                  10/11
    Philladelphia Eagles  -4                    10/11
    Washington Rdskins   -3.5               10/11

    Jets would be my most fancied pick !

    only just seen this thread, currently 4/7 - brutally unlucky not to be on at least 5/7 - on NFL this season, looking to make it a second season in a row in profit

    i will be betting tonights game but not until jus b4 KO, if i remember i'll post on here what i do, if not and you're on twitter it'll be on there @shanxtapoker

    Ty,  came 7th in the BH. Can not complain.  Will final table one day.

    Channel 4 show a live game every sunday night (Monday morning) around 1am. 
    BBC also show a game or 2 on monday night (Tuesday morning) on the red button. Again around 1am.

    Sky also show several games, i believe they show one on a thursday night, and possibly 2 on a sunday.

    yeah thursday nights Sky are now showing a game, just about to start. As last season Sundays are brilliant, 2 games on Sky from 6ish thru til just after 12, and then C4's coverage kicks in and they show another live gamethat goes thru til 5ish.  Another new addition for this season is BBC's coverage on monday nights, but their coverage is so tilting, jumping in and out of ESPN's coverage, missing plays, and playing the most annoying music during breaks!

    thx, wanted to catch total access b4 i bet just to make sure i haven't missed anything, seen nothing to put me off what i fancied so the bets are on, over 49.5 pts @ 10/11, and Panthers -2.5 @ 5/6

    caught a few mins of the show, ul in the main, could be worse though

    Yup, i wasn't sure as i'd never seen a game go to overtime that i had previously bet on.  I figured it would count tho, since they don't seem to offer odds on a draw/tie.   Teams can actually still tie after overtime, but its happened like twice in 15 years or something !

    As for the tipping,  next week, im just going to back the complete opposite teams to the ones i fancy.

    In my defense, i've heard 3 analysts say it's been one of the hardest weeks to tip ever, with shocks everywhere !

    o well.   Had a little bet on the patriots now so i can enjoy the gameee.

    missed most of the weekend action due to the ryder cup, had a small trable, lost

    bears +3 and over 41.5 total 4 me 2nite, backed with the irish as they've got some gd promos 4 NFL betting
