Hi all, I have played many sites but always, always, always succumb to SUPER TILT.

By this I mean:

I play cash or single table generally building a nice stack then get a few bad beats and go CRAZY.

SUPER TILTING for eg: started with a $10 stack played cash all day got upto $900

my hole cards were KK RAISED RERAISED

FLOP KKA  all money went in $1800 pot oppenent showed AA

RIVER ACE  so QUADS V QUADS .......... then I put all my remaining stack of $400 into a cash gme and lost it all.

This a totally, tyotally recurring theme " I know thats POKER" etc but hopefully by posting this I can control myself on SKYPOKER ...LOL..LOL.

Anyway started with £10 now upto to £11.87 I want to creep up to £1000 and if feel the SUPER TILTING GODS grabbing me, knowing the community is observing I can log out and chill for a day.....

Anyway started today with £10 upto £11.87

Comments please....

    good luck buddy,

tilting is a nasty thing,i know i had it once when playing.
fortunately for me anyway,i said to myself 'i'll never do that again'
    and touch wood,haven't.
it is imo 'mind over matter'

if you feel it coming on again, just finish the hand you are playing and 'get out of there' asap

    aamoi,
                i'm building a starting b/r of £40 up to £913 atm, target ; £1040
    not far to go.

Ithanks for the advice, good words.

I crack mentally when get horrendous bad beat.

Throw the whole stack into a cashgame and go all with JACKS or worse. Lose my stack and start again.

However these posts and using the forum is helping.

No tilting even though had KK V QJ (all in)AND LOST TO FLOP off A K 10 MMMNNN

YUP, SITE IS HARDER TO GRIND THAN jokerstars, however you do not get as many bad beats yet.

Seems easy not to SUPER TILT BECAUSE play is generally better.......

    LOL LOL

£10> £16.24    GOD this is difficult, playing handcuffed . As roll is so small just playing in cash games at 0.80 buy in's

No this is contrary to management advice but playing super tight and crawling up.

SUPER TILTING not reared up YET

I had the exact same problem but it has improved alot  after i wrote a discussion with the same problem on this forum and everyone reccomened a book called 'the mental game of poker' written by jared tendler.  Was a great help.  People saying its poker and all that stuff doesnt help you accept why you shouldnt be annoyed, in this book its talk about different kinds of tilt ( arrogance tilt, envy tilt. motivation tilt) and tells you how to deal with it and what logic you should look to inject.

Obvious everyone has different ways of learning but i felt this helped alot.  Seeing as i had a downswing week after and dealt with it fine, and this week im in a decent profit so im pretty happy with it.

Hope this helps mate tilt is an annoying way of losing.

off to a great start buddy, well done.
i know from playing my challenge that this is the most vulnerable and hardest time for you.
you have to stay focussed every single session you play and stick to playing well within your b/roll.
i like what you are doing ,only playing with £0.80 each time that you load up.that's a very good strategy imo.
one that i would have been happy to have thought up.  lol
as your b/r increases i'm guessing that this will increase,as it should.
i'll be finishing my challenge, touch wood, very soon,so i'll have more time and i'll be following your progress with interest.
    best of luck.
    :)
