The Annual British Poker Awards ceremony took place last night, on HMS President, moored on the Thames @ Victoria Embankment, with Mr Grub Smith as Master of Ceremonies.
The winners of the various categories are listed below. I've put each Award on a seperate Post, to better enable relevant comments.
Note that not ALL the Awards were based on a public vote - several of them were decided by a Panel.

Best Poker Forum = The Hendon Mob
The award was humbly received by Barny Boatman.
THM was the first major UK Poker Forum, back in the days of the now defunct PRIMO Cardroom & the like.
Originally, it was un-Moderated, & it went off the rails a bit in around 2004/5, but after they introduced Moderation, it recovered.
It is mainly run by Joe Beevers, & Barny to a lesser degree.
Joe & The Mob are some of the great winners in poker. They did OK at the tables back in the day, but nowadays THM has become a valuable business asset, particulaly as to it's Database. Joe & co thoroughly deserve their rewards, they have worked hard down the years, & found a way to monetise their business.
Joe, the father of twin girls, is one of my poker heroes, if there is such a thing. Top bloke, & a perfect gentleman on & off the tables.

Best Cardroom Bar (!) - Palm Beach Casino
Best UK Tournament - UKIPT @ DTD.
The award was accepted by my very good friend - another poker hero! - Simon Trumper.
Ever the consummate pro, his acceptance speech was pure unadulterated spam - "Satellites are running NOW for this, that & the other". He was allowed to continue, but the microphone was eventually seized from his grasp in less than an hour.
Best Cardroom Restaurant - The Vic
Best Blogger - Neil Channing.
Neil was evidently under the weather, his gracious acceptance speech lasting less than 2 hours.
Best Online Player - Chris Moorman
Best Poker League - Champions Poker League
Best Cash Player - Sam Trickett.
Sam began his speech "I just got lucky at the right times, so I'm honoured to receive this Award".
Best UK Poker Personality - Liv Boeree
Best Tourney Player - Sam Trickett.
Sam began his speech "I just got lucky at the right times, so........"
Best Live Cardroom - DTD.
The Award was accepted by Simon Trumper, who began his speech "Satellites are running now for.....". He was forcefully removed from the stage inside an hour.
Best Cardroom Manager - Simon Trumper
Simon began his acceptance speech "Satellites are now.....", at which point he was thrown overboard.
In all seriousness, I'm delighted for him. We happened to be seated together, & during the preambles he said to me that he had been to numerous of these Award Ceremonies in the last few years, including three in Paris, & had never received an Award yet, so would not be attending them in future years. And then he was presented with a hat-trick of Awards!
Thrilled for him.
