newcastle leg 2 - GET TOGETHER

Hi All
Once again, I'll be in the bar/poker area of Aspers casino about 12.30/1.00pm.
Lets get together and have a drink, I'll either be wearing a suit or a grey hoodie, but if thats not enough for you, just look for the little,balding, sado looking around hugging everyone he can lol.
Seriously, I put this up for the last leg and there were about 30/40 people around the bar. It gets the day off to a good start.
I look forward to meeting all the old gang and making some new friends.

    I'll be there.  What about Friday?  Not sure I want to spend the night playing poker, but would be good to go for a drink or meal or both.  I'm flying up early afternoon, and am staying at the Newgate (on my own this time).

     Thats the best discription of anyone iv heard. SPOT ON :-)

     Ill be there if i go, still not 100% sure, its hovering around 90% at the moment ;-)

    Just  a tip for all you who are flying in , Airport taxi will cost about £20 to Newcastle, Ring Blueline on 0191 2626666  will only cost you about £12

    Also a tip for anyone travelling northbound to Newcastle on the trains like myself for leg 2!

    When booking your journey, DO NOT book a direct return to Newcastle from your starting point but instead book 4 seperate single tickets and always get off at Leeds to get a connecting train to Newcastle. (My example: Manchester Piccadilly - Leeds, Leeds-Newcastle, Newcastle-Leeds, Leeds-Manchester Piccadlly).

    It might sound a bit pointless but doing something like that will reduce your travel costs by over 50% as if i booked a direct return it would cost me over £68 but by booking 4 single tickets it will cost me around £33-34!.
