Is live fixed?

played live at New Brighton last nite, hero all in playing £1/£1 cash last nite for near £80 preflop with four callers. Hero has KK, board 5A9, remaining 3 players check. turn 6, all check again, river 2. check check to button who moves all in, both fold with neither holding an A. Hero shows his KK, villain shows his pocket 2s for trip 2s. 
Of course real life isnt fixed, but if this happens on-line players scream foul, and typical sky. 
Just thought i'd post the hand for balance.
