Jump racing at CHESTER????

I read today that they are going to trail hurdle races at CHESTER on monday, great idea but surley madness.
Chester is a very tight round track, and having hurdle races here surley would be a mistake, the field sizes for one wouldn't be big (as same happens on flat)  I know there are tight jump racing tracks out there at moment, but CHESTER holding jumps????

What do you think of idea of this idea. I have added a poll, just to see if you think Good/Bad idea.
Many thanks to all if voted.

Gl if betting this week.

down royal and downpatrick both of which i attend frequently - would call them tight tracks, especially home straight for each. should work. the chester cup is a big field over 2m + so cant see why. roll on next fortnight  or so and get the jumps started anyways!!! cannae wait!

Cant see it working. They're always on the bend there, they would have one **** of a job presenting the horses right at the hurdles.

I cant see the course is suited for jump racing its only 1 mile round and the straights only a furlong long.
Just cant see a true run race or trainers running decent quality horses there.
Fontwells chase course is short but all the jumps are in the straights and the turns arent anywhere near as tight as chester.
